| About Our Business Originally from Northeast Ohio, Larry fell in love with Central Virginia the first time he came here. After years of visiting family and a lot of research on the area, ten years ago Larry and his wife decided this was the perfect place for them and their business. Two of their children were grown and living on their own , so they packed up the remaining four and haven't looked back since. As far as moving his business to Virginia Larry had several goals from the start. One was to provide the highest quality custom construction for the most affordable price possible. The other was to put together a dedicated team of professionals, while keeping the company small enough that Larry could always be on the job sites making sure quality remained everyone's objective. He also didn't want to get so big that he couldn't work closely with each of his customers, his feeling being that by cutting out the middle man he could eliminate miscommunication. Also very important to Larry was to keep Marie Allen Custom Homes a family business no matter how big it got. At this time Larrys wife Diane and two of their sons are working for the company. |
